Hello Classic Movie Fans, it’s that time of year again when TCM dedicates a day’s schedule to a particular star. Here is a listing of this year’s stars as well as a couple of films of theirs I love or am excited to see. For complete listings, check out TCM’s website.

As per usual, I think TCM did a good job choosing a range of stars for this tribute. You have icons such as Marilyn Monroe and Cary Grant as well as forgotten talents like Ricardo Montalban and Ann Harding. Still, I might have liked to see more silent and foreign film stars. Either way, I’ll be watching. Happy August!
